Our April Wine of the Month is the 2023 Garzon Marselan Reserva.

Marselan is a French grape created in 1961 by crossing Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, in hopes of combining the strengths of both grape varieties. Wines made with this grape are typically strong, aromatic, and have soft tannins without bitterness.

This is certainly true for this Uruguayan Marselan made by Bodega Garzon.
This wine is juicy and concentrated with a round and persistent palate. Flavors of blackberries and other black fruits along with Mediterranean spices linger with its soft tannins.
Provençal-style vegetables, strong cheeses, or mushroom risottos would pair wonderfully with this Marselan.
Regularly $24.99, for the month of April it will be $16.99.

We hope you enjoy this fun wine from Uruguay.
